The Grand Hyatt Athens is bookable using World of Hyatt points and has an AMAZING view of the Parthenon from the rooftop pool.
If you’ve been dreaming of waking up in a plush hotel bed with an epic view—without draining your bank account—you’re in the right place. These are the credit cards you use to can build your stash of World of Hyatt points.
Hyatt points are like ✨gold✨ in the world of travel rewards. They’re super valuable, can get you incredible hotel stays for fewer points than other programs, and best of all, they’re pretty easy to earn—if you know how.
So, let’s dive into why World of Hyatt points are so amazing, which credit cards will help you rack them up, and how to actually use them for free (or nearly free) hotel stays.
Why Are World of Hyatt Points So Valuable?
Not all points are created equal, and Hyatt points are the holy grail of hotel rewards. Here’s why:
Low Redemption Rates – Compared to other hotel programs, Hyatt requires fewer points for a free night. That means your hard-earned points go further! (Translation: More vacations, less crying over your bank statements.)
Fixed Award Chart – Hyatt makes is sooooooo much easier to plan your next free hotel stay thanks to their fixed award chart. Hotels are broken into categories (1-8 for traditional hotels and A-F for all-inclusives) and then nights are assigned a “off-peak”, “standard”, or “peak” rate. This lets you know exactly how many points you’ll need in order to book your award stay. No crazy dYnAMic pricing here. 💁🏼♀️
No Ridiculous Fees – Some hotel programs still require you to pay extra fees on award stays, but with Hyatt, members don't pay resort, destination, or facility fees when booking with points.
Amazing Hotels – From dreamy bungalows in the Maldives to chic city hotels, Hyatt properties are seriously top-notch. Now’s your chance to pretend you’re a travel influencer in your free luxury suite.
Our Favorite Credit Card Partner – If you don’t have Hyatt points yet, no worries! You can transfer them from our very favorite credit card program (we’ll get into that next). ⬇️
👆 We’ve booked Hyatt stays all over the world — from Greece, California, Mexico, London, Paris, and Hawaii!
